Colm Moynihan

Colm Moynihan

Colm Moynihan is General Manager of NorthStar Healthcare.

Colm has been with NorthStar since the firm’s creation in 2006, initially heading up its finance and supply chain functions for its overseas operations. He was appointed General Manager in 2015 and sits on the Board of NorthStar Healthcare.

Today, Colm’s role with NorthStar is focused on expanding McKesson’s portfolio of private label pharmaceutical products, emphasising product quality, operational excellence, innovation, people and culture.

Before joining NorthStar, Colm worked for global organisations such as Stafford Miller, Kerry Group and Bausch + Lomb. He has over 20 years of business experience in sectors spanning pharmaceuticals, food and medical devices.

Colm is a chartered management accountant and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Accounting) degree from the Waterford Institute of Technology.

Outside of work, Colm is an avid golfer and rugby supporter. He trains under age teams at his local rugby club, Cork Constitution. Colm is married with two children and lives in Ballincollig, Cork.

DIRECTOR OF QUALITY

Michael Forkan, PhD

Michael Forkan is Director of Quality for NorthStar Healthcare.

Michael joined NorthStar Healthcare in 2008 and has had the pleasure of seeing NorthStar grow and develop over the years.

Michael has responsibility for the quality of the NorthStar private label and for product supplied to sister labels. His team monitors the compliance of NorthStar suppliers to quality and responsible sourcing standards, ensuring that product supplied through NorthStar meets all quality standards and obligations.

Michael obtained a PhD in Chemistry from Coventry University and completed a Post Doctorate in Athens before returning to Ireland and entering the pharmaceutical industry. With more than eighteen years experience in pharmaceutical R&D and quality, Michael has worked in innovator, generic and contract manufacturing organisations. He obtained a postgraduate diploma from TCD in 2010 and is eligible to act as a qualified person.

Michael is married with a young son and enjoys running, reading, travel and spending time with his family.

DIRECTOR OF REGULATORY AFFAIRS

Collette Rohan, PhD

Collette Rohan is Director of Regulatory Affairs for NorthStar Healthcare.

Since joining the company in 2010, Collette is focused on the contract manufacturing and sourcing of private label generic drugs with an emphasis on regulatory compliance, product labelling and post marketing surveillance.

Since joining NorthStar eight years ago, Collette’s team has broadened the scope of their activities from FDA ANDA submissions to adverse drug event and field alert reporting, as well as adherence to other regulatory body requirements including Custom and Border Protection, Drug Enforcement Agency and McKesson Trade Agreement Act compliance

Collette has over 25 years of experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing. Before joining NorthStar, Collette was Head of Regulatory Affairs for Corden Pharma, an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient manufacturer based in Little Island, Cork.

During her tenure with Corden, Collette developed the synthetic routes for many of the generic drugs launched by the firm, bringing these to full scale manufacturing. She was also responsible for all technical submissions in the US and EU, including Drug Master Files and Certificate of Suitability filings to support applications for regulatory authorisations.

Collette holds a BSc from University College Cork and a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Queens University Belfast. She currently resides in Cork with her husband and four children. Collette enjoys running, Pilates and swimming as part of an active lifestyle.

DIRECTOR OF SUPPLY CHAIN

Jimmy Morrissey

Jimmy Morrissey is Director of Supply Chain for NorthStar Healthcare.

Jimmy focuses on contract manufacturing and sourcing of private label generic pharmaceuticals, with emphasis on supply chain, operational excellence and both internal and external customer service. He also developed the supply chain team, processes and systems to provide generic pharmaceuticals to the US, Canadian and British markets.

Prior to joining NorthStar in 2010, Jimmy spent two decades in various roles throughout the pharmaceutical industry in both generic and branded organisations. He held leadership and managerial roles in manufacturing, technical support and projects.

Jimmy holds a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management and a Black Belt in Lean from University College Cork, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Limerick.

He is the very proud father of three daughters.
