What prompted you to choose this course?
Patient safety has been at the core of my career. As a quality professional, I believe quality plays a key role in ensuring that the product is safe and it’s good for the intended use. This course afforded me the opportunity to learn recent trends in the pharmaceutical industry, thereby keeping up with the ever-changing regulatory requirements. It enhanced my knowledge of the industry and I also developed a new set of skills. This puts me in a better position to do what I like to do best, protecting people.
What value did you find the course/training brought to your role in McKesson?
A key component of the course is risk management. I leverage this approach to complete my daily tasks. Choosing the best possible way to get a task complete that has the least possible impact on the business.
How did McKesson help in reaching your educational goals?
The company covered my tuition fees. Which was a great help. But, more importantly, moral support I received from my Manager and other colleagues is immensely appreciated. It’s not easy to do a part-time course with a full-time job. Just a little “you can get through this”, goes a long way.
