The Women in Technology – Company Award will recognise a company which has demonstrated a strong commitment to attracting, retaining and developing women across its workforce. The entry may be centred on company strategies, programmes, initiatives or activities which attract more girls and women into STEM, support young women in STEM Careers, enable working conditions which have increased the participation of women in the workforce, support the development and advancement of women through the career pipeline, foster women leaders within the organisation, or have introduced other activities to increase the participation and/or support the development of women in technology.
Up against the tough competition of eCOMM Merchant Solutions, Cognizant, Fidelity Investments, and Intel Ireland, this announcement was sure to be a very close call. Cognizant was announced the winner of this category.
Excellence in Talent Development
The Excellence in Talent Development Award recognises an organisation’s’ achievement in its strategy and approach to fostering the continuous professional and personal development of its people. The entry may be centred on: innovative staff development skills projects or strategies; working with new company entrants or job seekers; continuous professional development of technology staff; commitment to leadership development; other talent development practices.
Up against the tough competition of BSI Cybersecurity and Information Resilience (Ireland), MathWorks, Version 1, and Fidelity Investments, this announcement was also sure to be a very close call. Version 1 was announced the winner of this category.
