McKesson Cork Business Solutions have won CSR Initiative of the Year at the Irish Accountancy Awards 2020.
A virtual awards ceremony took place on the 18th November, and after being shortlisted by a panel of experts, McKesson Cork scooped the award ahead of some other great finalists. The award is in recognition of CSR initiatives which were organised and supported by the McKesson Cork & Northstar teams. Tom Ahern (Interim Controller with McKesson Cork’s Finance Team), can be seen below accepting the virtual award from RTE’s Richard Curran (from Dragon’s Den!).
The Irish Accountancy Awards take place annually, to recognise & celebrate excellence in the accountancy profession in Ireland over the past year. The award comes as a result of a detailed and compelling submission, outlining the fantastic fundraising efforts, charitable contributions and volunteer work that McKesson Cork and Northstar took part in last year. This is a huge achievement for our site, and it recognises our strong commitment to supporting charitable causes and making a real difference in the community.
